Rotary Roar Water Festival
The Trenton Rotary presents the PNC  "Roar on the River" at Elizabeth Park in Trenton
Michigan on July 1
4-16 2017. The roar on the river in it's 63rd year has quickly
become Downriver-Detroit's biggest festival by  attracting  record crowds  to the
shoreline of the Detroit River (Trenton channel). This event features  APBA boat races  
SST- 120 and 45 world championship races,  Classic car show, Free Children’s Fun
Fair, Live entertainment , Music Festival ,
Jet Ski Freestyle freeride and
championship
, Detroit River Jet Ski & hydroflight Jet Flying Freestyle Championships
on  Saturday evening. There is a  Friday night party called the "Taste of the Race" ,
which sells out at $35.00 per person

  • When: July 15-16 2017 Saturday and Sunday
  • The 2017 Roar on Detroit River Freestyle championships is sanctioned by the
    Pro Watercross. All riders must hold a 2017 Pro Watercross membership
  • All Riders attending need to confirm with Typhoon Tommy at

48183 - We have a  NEW Jet Ski Freestyle pit, which is next to the race tower.
there is a boat ramp about 400 meters downstream or we can tote skis in to use

July 14th -- Friday night Party with Freeriding at 6pm till 8pm
July 15th (heat day for boats) starting at noon we ride between heats, then around
5pm we will have water till 8pm and the IJSBA Roar on Detroit River  Feestyle
Championships that evening.
Concert and firework after.
July 16th (biggest crowds) jet skis freeride 3  times between heats and will be
done around 3pm.
